Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for web applications, APIs, and cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python-based automation frameworks and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure product quality.
- Track, report, and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality processes.
Required Skills
- 5-10 years of experience in Software QA and Test Automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python and automation testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
- Experience in API testing using REST APIs, Postman, and related tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
- Strong SQL and database testing skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
- Experience testing AI/ML or Generative AI applications is a plus.
