About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft 365 Engineer to design, implement, and support M365 solutions for our clients. This is a delivery-focused role that also requires strong communication skills — you will work directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and drive implementations to closure. You'll collaborate closely with our Solution Architects, presales team, and other engineers as part of a fast-paced cloud consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, migrate, and support Microsoft 365 workloads including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune/Endpoint Manager.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity, conditional access, and hybrid identity (AD Connect/Entra Connect).
- Implement and manage security and compliance features — Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention policies, sensitivity labels, and MFA/conditional access policies.
- Plan and execute tenant-to-tenant migrations, mailbox migrations, and content migrations (SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams).
- Automate administrative and operational tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex M365 issues, working with Microsoft support when required.
- Participate directly in client calls — gathering requirements, presenting solutions, and providing status updates in clear, non-technical language when needed.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and cross-functional teams (security, cloud infra, presales) to design integrated solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Stay current with the M365 roadmap and proactively recommend improvements to clients.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience administering and engineering Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Intune.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) — identity management, conditional access, hybrid identity setups.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation; working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience with M365 security and compliance tools (Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels, retention).
- Hands-on experience with tenant migrations and cutover planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — comfortable presenting to and collaborating directly with client stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Good to Have
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator), SC-300, or MS-700.
- Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Experience with Azure infrastructure basics or other cloud platforms.
- Prior experience in a consulting/services delivery environment.
What We're Looking For
- A strong communicator who can translate technical detail into business language for clients and leadership.
- Someone genuinely hands-on — comfortable in the tenant, in PowerShell, and in troubleshooting, not just in architecture diagrams.
- A collaborative team player who works well with architects, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
